Revel in the music, food, and culture of the Northshore with our action-packed events calendar. Hundreds of wooden boats line the shore of the Tchefuncte River each October for the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival, the largest gathering of watercraft on the Gulf Coast. In November, walk the quaint streets in downtown during the annual Covington Three Rivers Art Festival, a juried show and arts mall comprised of talented artists from around the region. Spicy seafood is served in Slidell during the St. Tammany Crab Festival in September and April’s All You Can Eat Crawfish Cook-off.  Find a treasure to take home at The Olde Towne Slidell Antique Street Fairs, the Abita Springs Whole Town Garage Sale, or the Covington Antiques and Uniques Festival.

The Northshore’s Holiday Happenings have grown in recent years various opportunities to have tea with the one and only Santa, Koop Drive Light Display in Mandeville, Christmas Under the Stars in Slidell, Sip n’ Strolls, caroling and live music events and more.
