Slidell’s quaint historic district is the setting twice a year for the Olde Towne Slidell Antique Street Fair. Held in March and again in October, the fair takes over First, Second and Erlanger streets for its salute to all things vintage.
More than 200 dealers and vendors set up shop in booths offering all kinds of antique furniture, stained glass, art, vintage jewelry and clothing, Depression glass, porcelain, dolls and toys, and other collectibles. Some of the dealers come from around the region, others operate brick and mortar antiques stores and galleries in the district year-round.
In addition to the great antique shopping, the spring and fall fairs offer several food booths as well as live music all day. Take a break from treasure hunting, grab a bite to eat and relax at one of the tables set up in the middle of it all.
There’s no charge to enter the fair and no charge to park. Save your money for shopping!
