St. Tammany Crab Festival

Two days of live Zydeco, Blues, Country and Rock music on two stages. Indulge in delicious Gulf crabs in various dishes by local restaurants, and other indigenous foods from Southeast Louisiana. The festival offers a variety of fun events for all ages. Back again are "Boat Rides on the Bayou," short tours of Bayou Bonfouca with Capt. Dave of Cat's Meow Fishing Experience. Fest-goers will also enjoy the car and motorcycle show, games, and interactive activities for kids, raffles, and new this year, the St. Tammany Crab Festival Battle of the Bands. Four Gulf Coast-region artists will be given the opportunity to perform on Saturday, and celebrity judges will pick the winners, who will be awarded thousands in cash prizes. Festival admission is $20 for adults, and free for children 12 and under. Weekend passes may be available, contact festival organizers. Boat ride tickets are $10, Children 5 and under free. One child per adult. ONLY presold tickets will be entered into giveaway raffles. They will be held every hour during the festival, from 1pm to 8:30pm.
