Slidell Heritage Festival

Celebrate America's birthday in Heritage Park at the 22nd Annual Slidell Heritage Festival. Lots of good food, music, games for the kids, arts and crafts booths, specialty vendors, and a fireworks display at 9 pm. From 4 pm to 9 pm, artists and craftsmen will display their work in the Camellia City Art-in-the-Park area in eight vendors with crafts to include handmade jewelry and a Farmers Market booth. Also, the Slidell Robotics Team will be displaying its latest robotic invention. The live entertainment schedule at the Slidell Memorial Hospital Stage will be announced on the website. Admission to the entertainment area is $10 for adults and $5 for children 4-12, children 3 & under admitted for free with a paying adult. No extra fee for children's activities. Entry fees raise funds for Slidell charities. Charities benefiting from the past two festivals include the Slidell Police Association, Boy Scouts of America - Cypress District, Hero's Farewell, Northshore Disaster Recovery, Slidell Ladies for Liberty, STARC, East St. Tammany Rainbow Childcare, Safe Harbor, East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity, and Remember Forever - Sgt.
