Weekly Events Music on the Bayou is a free event happening every Tuesday from 6:00PM - 7:00PM at the Jean Lafitte Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. Bring your lawn chair and step outside and immerse yourself in a variety of Southern Louisiana's best music including jazz, zydeco, swamp pop, Cajun, and more. Prior to Music on the Bayou from 5:00PM - 6:00PM: Cercle Francophone - Speak French with a group of local Acadians (Cajuns) working to preserve the language. During federal holidays the center is closed, and no events will take place.
