Ruston Peach Cobbler

Ruston Peach Cobbler


  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups milk or buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar or brown sugar
  • 6 cups Ruston peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 sticks butter, cut in small pieces
  • whipped cream or ice cream for serving



Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix flour, milk, and sugar. Add peaches and butter.

Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake until top turns golden brown, about 30 minutes.

Cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
